A Gypsy Players interactive murder mystery involves dinner guests directly in the action by cleverly interweaving suspense, comedy and non-stop action, always topped off with a little murderous fun.

Our interactive murder mystery dinner events are not your everyday dinner theatre fare – dinner, then watch the show. During an interactive show the action takes place all around the guests - an actor may be seated at their table, a guest may be a suspect and everyone has the opportunity to solve the crime, with the sleuth coming closest receiving a prize at the end of the evening.

With over 18 years of experience producing interactive murder mysteries on both the east and west coasts, the Gypsy Players pride themselves on providing an excellent evening of entertainment that always has guests coming back for more! The Gypsy Players provide the opportunity for guests to transform themselves into a sleuth for an evening (or weekend) of murder, mystery and mayhem. While guests enjoy drinks, dinner and dessert, they are treated to a spectacular participatory experience facilitated by a colorful cast of characters performed by professional actors.

The fun begins the minute guests are escorted to their table, and continues as they have opportunities to bribe suspects, gather clues and then attempt to solve the crime. There’s plenty of intrigue for the die-hard mystery buff combined with an abundance of campy comedy, keeping everyone on their toes and entertained throughout the entire evening with an unforgettable whodunit.

Our shows are comedies, with a challenging mystery.
It takes time to seat everyone for the show. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early so we may start on time.
Dress is casual, and many guests enjoy dressing up as their favorite character.
The show will begin for you the moment you are seated.
The actors will engage you immediately. They will not be offended if you do not wish to engage them back.
The actors have scenes they will perform, which are vital to the plot and the mystery. When they are performing scenes, please do not interrupt. There is plenty of time between scenes, during meals, etc in order to talk with the suspects.
The first course of the meal will generally begin within 15 minutes of the show start. (We know you're hungry)
The show should last 2-1/2 hours, but depending on audience size and interaction, can be anywhere from 2 to 3 hours in length.
There may be loud gunshots, and there may be guns pointed at guests. Yes, they are safe props, but the sudden noise can be frightening.
Dead bodies are not truly dead. Please don't try to prove that they are.
Clues can be anywhere you can be, at any time.
Pay close attention to everything if you wish to solve the crimes. Our mysteries are purposefully difficult, but are solveable.
Liars are liars, and killers are killers. Most killers are also liars.
Cocktail service is usually available on a cash basis, either by a bar in-room or by cocktail waitress.
